On Tour With Family and Friends

Hey!
Watz new? Well, the latter part of the shaadi was amazing. Chauri was followed by dinner and then "Anghuti rasam" followed with "Ice cream party " by Nikhil Chachu.Nikhil Chacha was celebrating his 6th anniversary on the same day. I like Chacha and Chachi and Aarav. Chachi is jus like a frend. I gave her nice fashion tips and she  in turn told me how Chacha brings in new sarees for her for every occassion.I think they share platonic relationship. I took a promise from her that I m gonna take her for selection of my better-half as I was impressed with her choice. To which, she laughed incessantly with mom and Priti kaki. I m trying to come out of my shell and talk to ppl of different age groups. It is fun. Long back, Somebody told me,"Neetal you should interact with all sorts of people". I am doing since that day. It has broden my outlook. I thank him here. I m sure he would know after reading this.;)

We are leaving for Mumbai today for our New year bash. We have Dilip Uncle's family, Our's, Tarun Uncle's family,Girish nanji's family with Khushal mama with us. Khushal mama is joining us from bombay. It wud be followed by Matheran stay. We r coming back on 2nd.
Then, another shaadi to be attended in Sanawad on 2nd and 3rd of Kalash bhaiya and Vapika di. Vaapika di Robin bhaiyya's mosi's daughter. Mosi personally invited me. So, I can't say no.
Catch you later,

"HAPPY NEW YEAR" in advance.GOD BLESS YOU ALL. ;)

Loads of love and good wishes,
Neetal Jain.

Shaadi day FINALE

Hey!
So, Wassup?
I am dying to tell what happened at Shaadi. Well, We went to the temple first. Then for breakfast at Taapadiya Garden. Ppl gorged on Idli Sambhar, Rabdi, samosa's, and mithai. I didn't eat any of them.
I am on diet. I mean it and it is not funny, Mind you! ;)

Then, I dressed up in nice Red and green Salwaar Kameez with matching jewellery and 24 bangles with 2 kadas with pearls embedded on them.I did no makeup just a gloss and black kaajal. That's it. I loved my diamond shaped bindi that mom got for me. It's beautiful with green pearl outlining the big green one.
I thought that maybe I would look beautiful amongst all the femals.Guess wat? I was wrong. All of them looked so pretty in their own rightful way.

We took the baraat from Agrawal dharamshaala to Taapadia garden. It was fun. We danced throughout. Then, I did lot of gossiping with my Chaachi's and bhua's. I wore (stupidly!)  2 inch heels. My feet r paining terribly now.The women of both the household hugged each other. Then we were welcomed with flowers and warm smiles. Thank God! only women hugged each other. I was afraid. Prasham Chachu said that since you were getting so desperate for my marriage that you would dream of that during your exams, you shud put the bigger tikka on my forehead. Then, we both exchanged smiles. And I blushed again.I looked down and saw him through corner of my eyes. He was still smiling. I hid behind mom.

Then we had lunch. After taht, we had a photo session with Chacha and Chachi. Chachi looked so pretty in Red lehanga. I told Chachi that she is lucky to have him. I mean it.Now, I have come home.
Wud be leaving in next 10 mins. after getting ready for Chauri (Phera's.) .

bbye.
Mom needs me in another fraction of a second.

D -Day , Day -1

Hello!
Amazed?
Well, it seems as if days fly! I mean it. It seems just yesterday when I wud blush on hearing the poem that Prasham chacha wrote for me and Shikha. We were called "Kaali billi" and "gori billi" respectively. Funny!
He wud play nice 'mouth organ'  while bathing. I wud shyly stand behind the door that led to the bathroom and hear him. Whenever he wud come home I felt so shy that mom and dad used to nag me to come out and talk to him. I have huge respect for him.I don't say it but mean every word of it. As far as I know Chacha, I would be on top of the world if I meet anybody like him. If someone asks me wat kind of life partner you want? I would answer, like my Chacha. Well, it never seemed that we are cousin. We have one big family. My mom always say that once you love someone so much and have complete trust on someone then watever be the circumstances, make him/her feel special. She thinks that leads to happy LIFE. I do agree with her.

I DON'T KNOW WHY I GET SO EMOTIONAL AT TIMES.EVEN IF I TRY AND RUN AWAY FROM PPL/PPL WITH WHOM I GET EMOTIONAL WITH, THEY HAUNT ME.

Funny yet real. Boys would dislike this but I just cannot remove this basic factor that makes me so human.
I have learnt to forgive people.

Anyways, I had very amzing day yesterday. I had fun with Prasham Chacha and loads of family members. I never knew that I wud meet so many ppl. They all loved me. I was meeting them after 8 years. There was so much to catch on. I put henna on both my hands from the professional who had come for Chacha. I am blessed. Then, we danced.
At 6:00 my frend had booked ticket for us of 3 IDIOTS. We enjoyed the movie so much so that we plan to catch up that in Pune too. Again at 9:30, more chit chats with family and then nice sleep.

Allright, baaki baad mein varna mom se maar peetegi. I m getting late for another ceremony.

bbye,
Happily,
Neetal

Cook it up with Paa..

Hi!

He is my Paa. So, as you can see Paa is cooking for his daughter dearest.Well, lagta hai maine apni kuch zyada hi tareef kar di. Isn't it?

Well, I had one of the most cherished moments of my life.I am sure I would remeber this for years to come.

Actually, the whole incident went like this. Dad went to the temple at 7.30 a.m. sharp today after coming from his Table tennis matches. On the way, he saw a sabjiwali didi with nice 'chhotu aalu'. He had not eaten patatoes for past 4 years. He liked them as it was fresh. So, he asked her to pack a kg. I was called from upstairs while I was busy fiddling with ny laptop. He invited me for the evening dinner. I aws amazed. He said that today he would cook it up by himself for mom and me. As mom is on diet and avoid aalu, I was the obvious choice. I was quite apprehensive first. I prayed the entire day for my safety.

Finally, at 6.30 when amma and me were busy with shaadi preps, dad asked us to come down for dinner. My mom asked for HELP, to which he politely refused and threw her out of the kitchen. Poor she! She was allowed to observe the modus operandi, that's it.I helped him with the ingrediants.

The result turned out to be awesome. U have to believe this that we both finished 1 kg. of  "Aalu Methi". Trust me, on top of that I had soup cooked by him.It was the best I had till date.

Overall, a simple event cooked with loads of love and passion. My dad just cannot cease to amaze me everytime I come home. I am blessed.

RECIPE:

U NEED:
1 KG. BOILED PATATOES
1 TSP. CUMMINS SEEDS
1 TSP TUMERIC POWDER
2 TSP REDCHILLI POWDER
2 TBSP GARLIC PASTE
1 TSP DHANIA POWDER
2 FIST FULL OF METHI LEAVES
2 TBSP HOMEMADE BUTTER
SALT TO TASTE

PROCEDURE:

MAKE TADKA IN BUTTER OF ABOVE MASALAS. NOW PUT METHI LEAVES. COOK IT ON LOW FLAME FOR 5 MINS. NOW ADD BOILED AALU PIECES.

*GARNISH WITH CORIANDER LEAVES AND ADD LEMON JUICE IF NEEDED.
READY TO EAT WITH HOT PARANTHAS. VOILA!

Try and tell me how it turns out to be!
Waiting for your reply,
Dr. Rajeev.Jain (Chef)'s daughter,
Neetal

The most imaginative Night I had till the date!

Hi!

I am sure you are running your grey cells at >3*10^8 m/sec. Relax! Soham..Soham..Deep breathe in and breathe out..

Hey! It's just that we had gone out to watch the recent movie "Avtaar" at the BIG CINEMAS in Khandwa.
Well, it was the best show I've seen till date. We had Paa, Maa, Dilip Uncle ,Aarti Aunt,Shikha,Shubra,Vibhuti bhua n Ajit fufaji with us.

Vibhuti bhua n Ajit fufaji  have come from New York to spend some time with us.Shikhaji was getting bored. So, We decided to go 4 this movie.

Now movie is not an event where, you dress up and go. Right? But, my baby sis, Shubra was super-excited.SHE DOLLED HERSELF IN  PRETTY pink salwaar Kameez(She is five!) and matching pink jewellery, lips glossed with pink vaseline and pink sandals. She is a cliche girl,I guess!
Someone once said, "GIRLS WOULD BE GIRLS!".I agree with him.

So, finally I met my bhua after 8 yrs. yeah! She was the first person with whom I was really close to.
Even before saying maa and paa when I was a kid, I said "Abhuu",  refering her. So, you can guess my closeness with her. Things change when ppl get married. They leave you. They have their own new life. Now, As she lives in the States, we talk twice a year. That's it. I used to feel bad before, that I lost my confidante. But, now I  have  learnt to get back out of the past and I try to live in present. Maybe, I am becoming mature!

Now, theMOVIE was fantabulous. I rate it 4/5. Amazing Imagination and wonderful display of creativity. I seriously, recommend you this movie. It's based on "GLOBAL WARMING' concept. I won't reveal you the entire story but lemme share the amazing part that I really liked in the movie.
When mother feels that the entire " Pandora" is under threat, she calls in for the Prayer meet under the tree where the inhabitants can find their connection with their ancestors. They pray the goddess "EVA" for the souls they lost in the battle with the research Army. Again, before killing any animal, they would pray and say that the animal didn't deserve to be killed. May his Soul rest in peace. THE SIMILAR IDEAOLOGY WE HAVE IN JAINISM. What I concluded was that how developed or progressive humans can, still, it's their faith that bind them. Isn't it?

This was my intrepretation, you could have another story to tell. ;).
Overall, I had invested the right bucks for the right movie. It maybe that some of you might not like it as u wud have seen Star Wars or other Sci-Fi movies with similar art- works. As, I am still exploring the new genre(for me), I m amazed. ;) .

I am gonna tell u more about the lunch party that we had for all my frends. My mom really gelled well with all my friends and we had our house on fire with our cray wit and humor.

Till the next post,
You all love yourself and spread love.
GOD BLESS,
Neetal.
